About
The Food Club is a diary dedicated to growing and cooking your own home grown fruit and vegetables. Justin is using his garden / kitchen and local hedrows to grow, gather and cook his own produce. The site is here to help people get started growing and cooking no matter what size of garden or kitchen. Justin belives in organic gardening to ensure the best tasting and healthiest food.
Last year Justin was recieving his weekly fruit and vegetable from a organic supplier. They delivered a small box for £13 per week and over the summer he was able to cancel his box for 12 weeks from his 5ft x 12ft plot. The site will uncover how he was able to do this!
Garden Organic believes a plot as small as 4ft x 4ft (1.2m x 1.2m) could supply vegetables all year round for as little as £50.
The cost of food is going up and we are all facing the “Credit Cruch” so no doubt saving some money would be of interest to everyone. Don’t forget you don’t need a huge garden to start growing your own. You can ever grow inside for those of you without a garden or in pots for yards.
