My Garden

September 2006

I was looking at my extremely overgrown garden at the end of the summer 2006 wondering what could be done. I decided that it was time to take some serious action and get out there. With a little help from my girlfriend and her parents the following month we attacked the undergrowth. After a long weekend we had filled a skip and hired a rotivator to turn the groundover. The rotivator was in fact potentially the wrong choice as it has left me with an extremely lumpy lawn.

October 2006

After the long weekend we had cleared the garden and I was at a point to develop a lawn. 

2007 & 2008

The following summer after getting the garden sorted I went about trying to cultivate a lawn. I must say this was a disaster and I now have the most uneven lawn imaginable. 

February 2009

I thought you would all like to see what my garden looks like as of the 1st of Feb 2009. It’s very much a work in progress but over the next few months I’m planning to keep you all upto date with the transformation.
